I was searching through some of my old Nintendo Power magazines, when I found this:

If you have your own DQ Swag, post some images here for a couple of KPs!

(Remember to use the "add image to post" option if possible, to prevent over-sized images that may cause server overloads)

Heeeeeey! I think I had that issue! :D

Alas, I have no camera... and my "swag" is too small anyways. :P

Well in this case, "swag" = anything DQ. It can be one keychain, plushie, etc. Of course, a whole collection would look nice.

This is my pic from the SK V1 2007 Halloween Contest. I didn't win or anything but I wanted to post something. Reminds me of the old days......

Man I still want that damn golem statue from that article. That would be the best DQ thing in my collection. Though the Horii signed games really rank up there on the "neat-o-meter".

And even though this is not a "Image" it is a link to a set of "moving pictures" of my stuff when SK was still around. Hope that qualifies though the collection has since grown quite a bit.

Hey, Flute_Warrior,
Can you tell what issue that article is from? This annoys me because I know I have more stuff.

This is just my plushes.
I won most of these plushes from Japanese game centers in 2002. Almost everything else I bought or won when I lived in Japan from 2003-2005.

Here's one of my storage containers.
Image

All of my stored plushes on the bed.

Here are some of the oldest plushes I own. They're from Dragon Quest V and are 15 years old. I found them at a toy store in Nagoya and bought the whole set for fairly cheap.

A slime backpack and the picture frames.

Slime cushions.

Some more cushions and other slimes.

Hoimi (Healer) Slimes

A horde of teeny slimes.

Here's the slime pyramid disassembled.

Now some of the non-slimes.

Here's some more from around the house.

Image

The silver slime that looks like a crystal slime was never sold or in game centers in Japan. I'm pretty sure it's a factory prototype or something. I got it off ebay from someone in Hong Kong or China.

Lastly, here are the Christmas Slimes. With them are Christmas Taiko drums (from Taiko no Tatsujin). Neither make any sense.
Image

This should be every Dragon Quest plush I own. It would take a lot more ambition for me to get pictures of everything I have related to Dragon Quest. Let's just say that Japan is a bad place to have your first good job and disposable income.

I will have to consults with my old mags. I'll let you know as soon as I find that darn issue...

By the way, pretty neat collection!
