Why, o Why, Square-Enix? I Am Really Hoping They Reconsider Before Officially Closing SK's Doors.

I'm kind of surprised they did this though. Obviously this doesn't come close to what we had when DQ8 came out (I remember after only like half a year there were already 10k members). But DQM:Joker just came out, and they have two more exciting games underway, it seems kind of strange they would just pack up and leave all of a sudden. They could just take off the prizes and thats it.The web hosting cannot cost so much they have to shut it down. :?

Closing A Primary Source For DQ Advertising Right When A New Line-up Of Games Is Underway Doesn't Seem Like A Really Bold Move On Square-Enix's Part. They Could've Waited A Little Longer, At The Very Least.

I'm hoping they will reopen it when Swords is closer to release.

I doubt that they'll reopen it.... but hopefully they'll have a better way to spread the word out for DQ.... cuz SK WAS the best way so far

In time this will probably become the next slimeknights. I doubt they would re-open it because then it doesn't make much sense to close it in the first place. It will always live on in our memories and in this site though.

Well Fanpimp sites arent meant to last forever. Though it is disappointing that SE doesnt make their own community on their own servers. Konami and Capcom have their own boards. Sure not highly active but still.
