Yep, I finally decided it should be time for me to own a copy of Dragon Quest VIII. I ordered a used copy at Amazon, because I'm saving up for a new copy of Swords. The impulse to buy the game came from a Demo of DQVIII that my mom gave to me on Sunday (she gets lots of old stuff from a friend almost every week). I was surprised when she handed me some PS2 Demo CDs, and one of them, DQ, stood out. I played it right away, and I never new how much I really wanted it. I've been meaning to buy the game ever since Slime Knights 2.0, but I really didn't know if I would like the game-play and mechanics. Now I'm eagerly waiting for my delivery!

I still haven't bought that game either, but a friend of mine have it, maybe I will ask him to lend it to me, so I could play it if I like I am probably gonna end buying it LOL

Oh man! If you had told me this not even a month ago I could have sent you a brand new copy of DQ8 that was offered to me for nothing.....I turned it down because I already had a copy though.

I got mine for $10 back when there was a deal on it a circuit city. I spent over 100 hours playing it. Best bang for my buck ever! I think it became my favorite PS2 game...

If it weren't for DQVIII, I would never have tried any of the other DW/DQ games. I have had my copy for a while now, probably over a year or two. But, even after so long, I still come back to it again and again.
